Unfortunate

Some say ye should thank the heavens
Others think a it shame
But child do not curse aloud
Nor think the world is to blame

Oh ye of unfortunate birth
Remember what thy soul is worth

The moon dare not reveal
thy star crossed face
And the sun refuses to shine on thee
But the clouds still hold mercy and grace
For they send their rainbow sympathy

Oh ye of unfortunate birth
Remember what thy soul is worth

The stars, the moon could not give their light
But a man of Jerusalem gave all his might
