NaPoWriMo: half a dozen haiku and short poems

Savannah river
Survival of the wildebeest–
Travel in pairs

——
They found her bones
At the marriage altar—
Mildew and bleached lace
——
Poison oak or sumac
Burning desire and regret scorched
In our hands and heart
—–
Promise blossoms upon
The dirty laundry line, iron-
Keep your ducks queued
—–
Clog in the brain pipes
Are you sure it’s Tuesday?
Who are you again?
——
Seven billion women
Would be lucky to have you–
Silver screen sweetheart
