Drabble Thirty-one

Creak! The ceiling fan rocked off balance at high speed. Staring at it as she slid into her dress, Jaden relished the way it clung to her curves like second skin. Blurry neon lights from the hotel sign reflected off the rain slicked window.
Jaden fished a lighter and cigarette from a pair of khakis strewn on the floor.
“You should come back to bed.” She rolled her eyes, took a drag.
“Thought you were out for the count.”
Arms snaked around her, the stale stench of sex and alcohol accompanying them.
“Well, I did pay for the whole night.”
